Enhance the Properties of Lignosulfonate Mud by Adding Nanoparticles of Aluminum Oxide and Iron Oxide

Oil well drilling fluid rheology, lubricity, swelling, and loss control are all critical factors to take into account before beginning the hole's construction. Drilling fluids can be made smoother, more cost-effective, efficient by investigating evaluating effects of various nanoparticles including aluminum oxide (Al2O3) iron (Fe2O3) on their performance. A fluid's performance assessed comparing its baseline characteristics those nanoparticle (NPs) enhanced fluids. It was found that mud contained NPs in concentrations 0,0.25, 0. 5, 0.75 1 g. According results, when used without NPs, coefficient fraction (CoF) 44%, added Al2O3 NP Fe2O3 at 0.75g reduced CoF 31% 33% respectively. When were used, particularly a concentration 1g, amount filtration decreased from 13.5ml 9.3 ml 8.5 Additional improvements rheological properties as swelling Fe2O3NPs 1g. Overall, it adding Lignosulfonate-WBM 1g improve rheological, lubrication 0.75g.
